Welcome to lmiwaiver.com.au. This website is operated by LMI Waiver Australia.
By accessing and using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use this website.
1. About Our Services
LMI Waiver Australia is a mortgage broking service that specialises in helping Australian professionals obtain Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI) waivers on home loans. Our services include:
- Assessing your eligibility for LMI waivers based on your profession and financial circumstances
- Comparing loan products across more than 50 Australian lenders
- Preparing and submitting home loan applications on your behalf
- Providing guidance throughout the loan application and settlement process
Our service is provided at no cost to you. We receive a commission from the lender when your loan settles. Full details of our commission arrangements are disclosed in our Credit Guide, which will be provided to you before we provide any credit assistance.
2. Important Notice — Not Personal Financial Advice
The information provided on this website is general in nature and is intended for informational purposes only. It does not constitute personal financial advice, credit advice, or a recommendation for any particular product, lender, or course of action.
The content on this website has been prepared without taking into account your individual objectives, financial situation, or needs. Before making any decisions about home loans, LMI waivers, or any financial product, you should:
- Consider whether the information is appropriate for your circumstances
- Read the relevant Product Disclosure Statement (PDS) and loan terms from the lender
- Seek independent financial, legal, or taxation advice if needed
When you engage our services directly, we will assess your individual circumstances and provide credit assistance tailored to your situation, in accordance with our responsible lending obligations under the National Consumer Credit Protection Act 2009.
3. Credit Guide
Before we provide you with credit assistance, we are required by law to provide you with a Credit Guide. The Credit Guide contains important information about who we are and our authorisations, the types of credit assistance we can provide, how we are paid (including lender commissions and any fees), our panel of lenders, and how we handle complaints.
You can request a copy of our Credit Guide at any time by contacting us.
4. No Guarantee of Loan Approval or LMI Waiver
While we will make every effort to help you obtain an LMI waiver and secure a suitable home loan, we cannot and do not guarantee:
- That you will be approved for any loan
- That you will qualify for an LMI waiver with any particular lender
- That specific interest rates, fees, or loan terms will be available to you
- That the outcome of your application will be favourable
Loan approval and LMI waiver eligibility are ultimately determined by the lender based on their own assessment criteria, which may include your income, employment status, credit history, property type, loan-to-value ratio, and other factors. Lender policies and criteria can change at any time without notice.
